Maine Wedding DJ | Event Recap

In my last blog post I wrote about Jeff and Erin who celebrated their wedding at Point Lookout Resort on August 30, 2019. As you can imagine, Labor Day Weekend is a very popular choice for weddings here in Maine. Which means, the following day, August 31, I had the opportunity to party with Emily and Jake. These lovebirds hosted their ceremony and reception at the Bar Harbor Club in Bar, Harbor, Maine.  Yes, for those who follow my blog on a regular basis, the Bar Harbor Club is where Alex and Isiah celebrated their wedding earlier this season!

As a Maine Wedding DJ, I’m fortunate to have the opportunity to travel throughout the state providing services for amazing couples. This particular Labor Day Weekend involved a lot of traveling (stay tuned for Tiffani and Peter’s blog post, as they rounded out the triple-header weekend). More importantly, it included a lot of amazing memories and some epic parties.

For Emily and Jake’s reception, I provided: DJ entertainment and color controlled uplighting. The reception soundtrack was mostly top 40 with some EDM tracks that Jake really wanted to hear. Their crowd was younger and they hit the dance floor hard. The energy was contagious and when the last song was played, I’m not sure anyone was ready for the night to end.
