Ceremony
The day started with a beautiful wedding ceremony on the lawn overlooking the ocean. The weather was perfect (perhaps a little windy), but the setting was picturesque. The officiant, Rahul, delivered an amazing ceremony that was heartfelt, emotional, fun, and filled with tidbits about this amazing couple. The guests were all so happy for the two of them, and it was literally the start of a perfect day.
Cocktails
Following the beautiful ceremony, cocktails took place on the multi-leveled terrace. Guests enjoyed an amazing soundtrack, and phenomenal food and beverages (provided by Trillium). If you’ve never been to an event that Trillium has catered, you are missing out! Quick side note, if you find yourself in need of catering for an upcoming wedding reception they are definitely worth checking out!

Reception
Okay, back on track. Becky and Ben’s wedding reception was a high-energy affair, with a packed dance floor and guests who danced all night. The couple’s friends and family were treated to a night of fun and excitement, as they danced the night away to their favorite tunes. From a music perspective, I got to play some tracks that don’t typically come out during wedding receptions. Becky and Ben’s guests were dialed into fun, energetic music and..wow! What an amazing reception it was.
It was so much fun to see everyone letting loose and having a great time. The music was amazing, and it just kept everyone going. I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many people dancing with such energy for so long. I’ve done this for a long time and trust me when I say their party was epic. Perhaps legendary. It was just an incredible night all around
The were a lot of highlights to Becky and Ben’s wedding day. Perhaps the highlight for me was when the newlyweds took to the dance floor for their first dance as husband and wife. The tent was filled with love and happiness, and everyone had a great time celebrating Becky and Ben’s special day. Thanks to their high-energy reception, Becky and Ben’s wedding is sure to be remembered by all who attended for years to come.

When our wedding planner told us that Greg was the best DJ in Maine, we didn’t think twice before booking him, feeling grateful that he was still available for our date. I’m now convinced that Greg might be the best DJ…ever!? He threw an absolute RAGER for us – I’ve never had so much fun on a dance floor. He read the room beautifully, playing songs and genres that we had requested but also mixing in other jams that totally hit. I can’t tell you how many of our guests told us that DJ Greg was the MVP of the weekend.
In addition to an absolutely lit dance floor, Greg spent time getting to know us in the months leading up. He puts a great deal of care into his work and treats his clients incredibly well. When I switched up the parent dance song 5 mins before the dance was supposed to start, he didn’t blink an eye. He’s flexible, fun, and so so talented. Do yourself a favor and book Greg, like NOW!
