Chelsey & Ryan’s Sunday River Wedding in Newry

EDM Music? Let’s GO!

Finding a DJ that can align with your musical preferences is the foundation of having a reception that is unique to you. You wouldn’t hire a country band to play 90s covers, so it’s important you ask your DJ about what they like to play and what their musical knowledge includes. I know what you’re thinking, and yes, it’s true. A DJ should have access to an unlimited amount of music. You’re right in that assumption and many of us have extensive music libraries to fill most occasions. But, it doesn’t mean we’re all well-versed in the nuances of every style of music.

When Chelsey reached out about her wedding and the style of music she was looking for leaned heavily into EDM, I was hooked. It’s a genre that I’m very familiar with and our mutual passion for electronic music overlapped.

Weddings at Jordan Hotel at Sunday River

Many people think about Sunday River and instantly think of the Ski Resort. In my career, some of the most amazing weddings have taken place at the Jordan Hotel and the Grand Summit. The property, the view, and the service are top-notch. I think what people really enjoy about the opportunity to host their wedding at Sunday River is the ability to make it a weekend-long destination for their friends and family.

Weddings at the Jordan Hotel offer an amazing layout. The ceremony spot looks out at the mountains. They have a huge patio for cocktails and many people take advantage of the lawn with corn hole and other yard games. Inside, the space is distinguished while also being intimate. It’s one of my favorite rooms to uplight because the high ceilings with wooden beams look awesome as the sun sets.

Services provided

In addition to providing DJ/Emcee services, I also provided color-controlled uplighting, a ceremony sound system, cocktail sound system and an open-style photo booth.
