Bar Harbor, Maine Wedding DJ | Event Recap: I first met Jessica and Jamal at the Freeport, Maine Bridal Show in 2018. They were looking for a DJ that was current on music and relatable to a younger crowd. Fortunately, I fit the bill for what they had in mind. I’m so glad that I had the opportunity to work with these two. From day one, we hit the ground running with planning. And, I must admit, their vision for the reception was stunning. What I appreciated most was the music selection they had in mind was amazing. Jessica and Jamal took the time to understand their own music preferences but also what their guests would appreciate. When I saw the list of music they had in mind, I couldn’t wait for the actual reception! I knew it was going to be a lot of fun. Not to mention, Jessica and Jamal are just two of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. So, I assumed their friends and family would be cut from the same cloth. And, they were!
Their ceremony, cocktails and reception were all hosted at the Bar Harbor Regency. From a services perspective, I provided: DJ entertainment, ceremony sound system, cocktail sound system, and color controlled uplighting. The uplighting color of choice during dinner and formal dances was an elegant candle light. It matched the decor elements that Jessica and Jamal had perfectly. Immediately following formal dances the dance floor opened and the uplighting changed colors to add to the party atmosphere.
Jessica and Jamal’s friends and family partied until the very last song. In fact, we extended the reception an hour so that guests could continue to enjoy the festivities!
