Wow, thank you!

Oh, hi. Maine DJ Greg Young here, and I just wanted to take a quick moment to say thank you to everyone who has hired me and brought me in to help celebrate their events. It has truly been an amazing year, and the DJ industry is back and busier than ever. I’m so grateful to be a part of it and to have the opportunity to bring joy to so many people. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Thank you again, from the bottom of my heart.

Where has the time gone? It feels like only yesterday we were welcoming in 2021, and now 2023 is just around the corner. For those in the event industry, it’s been a busy year. We’ve seen a surge in demand for events of all types, from small private gatherings to large public celebrations. And we’re not slowing down anytime soon. As 2023 approaches, I’m looking forward to continued growth and success. So if you’re planning an event, make sure to get in touch with me early on. I can’t wait to help you make your event a success!

A DJ THAT ACTUALLY MIXES

It’s been a minute since I published a mix so I figured I’d go ahead and put something together for everyone to enjoy. If you’ve been on my social media you know that I’m a firm believer in the fact that DJs should be transparent with their work. They should publish photos, videos, and audio mixes of their work. And, most importantly, a DJ should be able to mix.

I’ve been djing for 25 years and I absolutely love it. I mean, I cannot get enough of it. The energy on a dance floor is contagious and I love providing the soundtrack for amazing celebrations. When it comes to music, I love finding new tracks and mixing them to create something special.

I thought it was about time I published another dj mix for you to listen to. This mix is packed with great tracks that I think you’ll enjoy. I hope you have as much fun listening to it as I had making it. Thanks for listening!

So Far in 2022

I mentioned earlier that things have been busy this year. How busy? Here’s a look at some quick stats: I’ve been involved with 108 events so far this year (and we still have 3 more months to go). I’ve traveled from Bar Harbor to Rockland, out to Newry, and down to Portland, York, and Kennebunk. I’ve been to New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and even Rhode Island.  I’ve already been involved with 33 weddings this season and the remaining events are a mix of corporate events, school dances, graduations, project graduations, and fairs/festivals. We’ve done fashion shows, pageants, and fundraisers this year too.

After a long two years (thanks, Covid), it feels SO good to be back on the road every weekend crushing dance floors and having a blast.
