Maine Maritime Academy | College Entertainment | Maine School DJ
October is one of the busiest months of the year. Why? Well, for a few weeks wedding season, school season and corporate season all overlap. This means I’m on the road non-stop traveling and providing services. Historically, Halloween week has always been very busy – which is great because I love Halloween! This year, I traveled to Castine, Maine to provide services for the annual Maine Maritime Academy Halloween Dance.

Well, the summer is officially winding down. What an absolutely blast I had traveling throughout the entire state (and New England) providing services for weddings, corporate parties and life celebrations. How To Make The Best Wedding Playlist
Planning a wedding is no easy task. There are so many details to take care of, and some of your to-do’s are more exciting than others. Luckily, putting together the best wedding playlist is definitely one of the more fun activities to check off your list. I recommend presenting the Maine DJ you hire with some song suggestions in an effort to personalize your wedding day by giving it the soundtrack you truly want. These tips will help you choose the right music for your big day:
Tiffani and Peter | Midcoast Maine Wedding DJs
Tiffani and Peter hosted their Sunday wedding on the coast of Maine at the stunning Point Lookout Resort. It was the final reception of a triple-header weekend for me and I couldn’t be more thrilled to celebrate with this amazing couple. As a Maine Wedding DJ, I’m fortunate to travel throughout the entire state, visiting amazing wedding venues and hosting the most memorable wedding parties. Tiffani and Peter were excited about the entertainment portion of their day and I couldn’t wait to deliver an amazing reception on their behalf.
Emily and Jake
In my last blog post I wrote about Jeff and Erin who celebrated their wedding at Point Lookout Resort on August 30, 2019. As you can imagine, Labor Day Weekend is a very popular choice for weddings here in Maine. Which means, the following day, August 31, I had the opportunity to party with Emily and Jake. These lovebirds hosted their ceremony and reception at the Bar Harbor Club in Bar, Harbor, Maine.
Jeff and Erin | Point Lookout | Maine Wedding DJ
Jeff and Erin hosted their beautiful ceremony and reception at Point Lookout Resort on Friday, August 30, 2019. Their ceremony was hosted outside with panoramic views of the ocean. It was a clear, beautiful day and guests soaked up the view while listening to Captain Barnes marry these two.

Hopefully you are all out enjoying what is left of summer! I can’t believe how quickly the season has come and gone. But, wow! What an amazing wedding season it has been. Jessica and Jamal | Maine Wedding DJ | Bar Harbor Regency
I first met Jessica and Jamal at the Freeport, Maine Bridal Show in 2018. They were looking for a DJ that was current on music and relatable to a younger crowd. Fortunately, I fit the bill for what they had in mind. I’m so glad that I had the opportunity to work with these two. From day one, we hit the ground running with planning. And, I must admit, their vision for the reception was stunning. What I appreciated most was the music selection they had in mind was amazing.
Brittany and Casey | Sunday River Wedding | Bethel Maine DJ
Brittany and Casey tied the knot at Sliders inside the Jordan Hotel (one of the many wedding venues couples can choose from at Sunday River). Traveling from Alabama, many of their guests were ready to turn their wedding into a weekend long celebration. From the time I arrived to start setting up equipment for their ceremony and reception, I could tell it was going to be a good party. And, can I take a minute to recognize Brittany’s sisters and bridesmaids who worked endlessly to personalize the reception and make it truly unique.
Lindsey and Jake | Cliff House Resort | York Maine Wedding DJ
Lindsey and Jake celebrated their ceremony, cocktails and reception at the Cliff House Resort in York, Maine. Now, if you’ve never been to this property before I would encourage you to do yourself a favor and go visit. It’s an amazing location with stunning views. The property is gorgeous and the drive to the venue is quintessential Maine.

I truly appreciate you checking out my website, blog, mixes and social media content! I know there are a lot of options out there for DJ entertainment so it means a lot that you’re taking the time to browse through everything I have to offer. July was a very busy month with events at: Camp Matoaka, Maine Maritime Museum, Point Lookout Summit, Point Lookout Pavilion, 1774 Inn and a handful of sound system rentals, uplighting rentals and photo booth rentals.
Morgan and Frano | Midcoast | Maine Wedding DJ
Morgan and Frano: where do I even start? These two are the kindest, most welcoming and joyous people you will ever meet. They smile. They laugh. They have fun. And they do it all of the time! No joke. Their energy is contagious and their spirits lift up the room. Through the planning process I got the sense their party would be one to remember. And, it was! Their ceremony, hosted at the Summit of Point Lookout, was breathtaking.

Understanding event lighting can be overwhelming, especially when it’s something new to you. Odds are, event lighting isn’t something you are familiar with and I get that. The educational component is a key factor in helping you understand the differences between services. My goal isn’t to make decisions for you; instead, I want to give you the tools necessary to assist you with making your event a representation of you and your vision.
Justin and Kellie | Woodlands Club | Falmouth, Maine DJ
I probably sound like a broken record, but have I mentioned how much I love my couples? I got to know Kellie and Justin well during the planning process and I was really looking forward to providing services for their big day. These two hosted their wedding ceremony and reception at the beautiful Woodlands Club in Falmouth, Maine. From a services perspective, we provided: DJ entertainment, ceremony coverage, cocktail sound system, color controlled uplighting, 70″ TV screens and our signature open style photo booth.
Cy and Adrie | Maine DJ | Point Lookout
Being a Maine DJ is an absolute blessing. Every weekend I get to travel to amazing locations and provide services for wonderful couples. Cy and Adrie are no exception. As I got to know them through the planning process I could tell that their reception was going to be a lot of fun. Cy and Adrie placed an emphasis on the reception and wanted a party that guests would remember. We worked collaboratively to layout the perfect itinerary and an awesome soundtrack for their big day.
