The best wedding barns in Maine

Over the past five years wedding barns (especially here in Maine) have become increasingly popular.  Each venue offers their own unique features.  When considering a barn ask yourself what is most important about a property. For some, it’s having a modern barn that has air conditioning and indoor bathrooms. For other couples they love the idea of designated ceremony, cocktail, dinner and reception locations all on the same property. Whatever it is, I highly recommend that you take the time to tour the property, read reviews and check out photos from other weddings. Get a true sense of what the property offers and make sure it aligns with your vision.

When I started as a Maine wedding DJ over 20 years ago, nearly all weddings were hosted under a tent or inside a ballroom. Now, wedding barns are dominating the scene. And why not? Beautiful views, beautiful photos and the opportunity to utilize acres of space is incredibly appealing. Having performed at most of the barns in Maine, here is a list of my top recommendations.
