Ocean Gateway Wedding DJ & Photo Booth
Over the weekend, I traveled to Ocean Gateway located in Portland, Maine to provide ceremony coverage, DJ Entertainment and Photo Booth services for Alicia and Johan’s wedding on June 30, 2018. Our wireless (and battery operated) ceremony system was the perfect selection for Alicia and Johan’s ceremony which was held just outside the visitor center overlooking the harbor. The ceremony was performed by Maria of A Sweet Start.
Alicia and Johan absolutely love music so entertainment was a big part of their day. From the first phone call (prior to booking us) it was clear that they wanted an amazing party. We worked collaboratively to coordinate a custom introduction and first dance. Alicia and Johan choreographed their first dance based on the mix we produced for them. And, as expected, their party was nothing short of amazing. Before dinner even ended the dance floor was full and the party had started. We event provided an extra hour of entertainment because the party wasn’t ready to end!
In addition to DJ services we also provided our open style photo booth with a silver sequin backdrop. The photo strips were personalized with Alicia and Johan’s hashtag for guests to share on the various social media platforms.
To tie in the design we also provided color controlled uplighting around the perimeter of the space. Our signature uplighting services are the perfect compliment to the architecture within Ocean Gateway.

Hiring Greg was one of the best decisions we made. During the ceremony his sound system was perfect for our outdoor oceanfront wedding. His sound system (clear and great sound) and DJ skills left our dance floor packed for the whole night. He took our ideas and song choices and created an amazing atmosphere all night long. We asked him to make us a surprise dance mix last minute and he did so within 24 hours!!! It was absolutely AMAZING! The photo booth was a hit for all ages. We are so happy to have even more photos of an unforgettable night. The uplighting was flawless and added a lot to our venue!
