In my 20+ years in this industry, believe it or not, I’ve never provided services at the Portland Regency. I was excited to transform the space with my signature uplighting services and couldn’t wait to work alongside a very talented staff.
Ceremony + DJ + Uplighting + Dance Floor Wash Lighting + Selfie booth
If you aren’t familiar with the Old Port, The Regency Hotel and Spa is located in the heart of downtown Portland. No surprise, things were busy downtown on New Years Eve but as expected the staff at the Regency were willing and eager to make the ceremony & reception perfect.
The ceremony took place on the lower level where Heather Rose, a Maine Officiant, lead the vow exchange. It was an intimate, sweet, and heartfelt ceremony that was wonderfully crafted.
Cocktails took place on the first floor and guests were treated to a playlist consisting of 2000s R&B tracks. Zach and Michelle were speaking my language when they asked for this vibe during cocktails. So, I made a spotlight playlist for you to check out here.
Upstairs in the ballroom, I provided DJ entertainment, uplighting, dance floor wash lighting and a social booth. Not familiar with a social booth?
