Portsmouth Abbey 

As we head into the summer months the phone has been ringing off the hook for school and corporate events. And, wow! What a welcomed change. Over the past two years, corporate and school events have been heavily impacted by the pandemic so it’s an amazing feeling seeing these events come back. Portsmouth Abbey, located in Portsmouth, Rhode Island has been a client of ours for many years. When they asked us to come back to campus for their first dance since the pandemic started, we were thrilled!

What’s a school dance look like in 2022? Well, a lot different from when I was in school! For this production, we brought out 75″ TV screens for music videos and same-day photos. We had the brand new pixel lights and, of course, intelligent lighting. In addition to the technology items, we also brought CO2, glow tubes, glow necklaces, and glow headphones as giveaways. Outside of the event space, we had a red carpet and arrival backdrop to take photos before students entered the dance. These images, along with event photos were displayed on the multimedia screens throughout the night which always gets an amazing response! Oh, and if you’re looking at the photo closely, yes you might see some confetti too!

A huge thank you to the students and administration at Portsmouth Abbey for bringing us back to campus. We know it’s been a long journey and we couldn’t have been more excited to join you for the return of in-person events. We look forward to being back on campus for future events!
