DJ in Rangeley Maine Rangeley is one of my favorite year-round destinations. Of course, it is very well known for winter activities like snowmobile and ice fishing, but over the years has become a hub for amazing wedding receptions! If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen that earlier this year I was at Loon Lodge Inn. Well, I was fortunate enough to venture back to Rangeley, this time for Will and Mallory’s amazing ceremony and reception hosted at Mountain Star Estate. 

A little back story: my wife, son, and I happened to be traveling through Rangeley for a day trip. I told you, we love that neck of the woods! Well, while at the park with our four-year-old (Owen), we met Nate. I didn’t know it at the time but he just recently purchased Mountain Start Estate. This was a completely chance meeting, but as we continued chatting it became clear we were both in the same industry. After discussing our careers and sharing business names, I realized I’d be at his property later that year. What are the chances, right? Well, Nate, being an incredibly gracious host, invited our family up to the estate for a tour. We met at the property later that day and I was blown away. The ceremony spot looks out at the mountains and water. The barn is gorgeous. And with their continued efforts to improve the property, I can only imagine what it will evolve into. It’s already an amazing spot. 

Fast forward a few months and I’m back at the property for Will and Mallory’s wedding and working with an all-star team of vendors. Capturing the day with photos: Mikhail Glabets Lifestyle Photography and day-of coordination and catering from Blue Elephant Events and Catering.

DJs in Eustis Maine The ceremony, led by a close friend, was well-written and incredibly personalized for Will and Mallory. Cocktails took place just outside the barn on the sprawling green area and then guests made their way inside the barn for introductions, formal dances, dinner, and dancing. I had a feeling from our planning discussions that Will and Mallory liked to party, but, all I can say is they took it to another level. Wall to wall, start to finish, their guests crushed the dance floor and it was an absolute blast. It’s one of those parties that, as a DJ, you remember for your entire career. 

Of course, the uplighting helped transform the space and add some energy once the dancing started. As for the ? Well, it’s been a huge hit since I started bringing it out earlier this year. I can’t believe just how popular it is amongst guests of all ages.

If it were possible to give 6 stars I would. My wife and I are very laid back people and not overly enthusiastic about planning anything so you can imagine a wedding was a daunting task. Greg was phenomenal throughout the entire process. He walked us through every one of his services, and helped us visualize how each would look and feel on the day. He never pushed us in any direction and maintained a level of excitement that was both professional and energizing for the two of us. As the event approached he worked with us to get every detail correct and to really get a feel for what we wanted musically. Again, my wife and I are not big on detailed planning so we gave him some general ideas, but for the most part trusted him to curate something amazing. To say he DELIVERED would be a gross understatement. The ceremony and dinner service was flawless, neither my wife nor I had to think about a thing and Greg’s MC-ing and song choices were amazing. When the dance floor opened up, the guests practically RAN to it and they remained on that dance floor until the final song of the evening. Our families were adamant that they had never seen anything like it. Not only did the two of us love every selection he made, but we heard endless stories of how great he was from practically all of our family and friends. Greg, thank you so much for being such a huge part of our special day and for absolutely crushing every aspect of it.
