York Maine DJ | Cliff House Resort

York, Maine DJ | Wedding Recap:  Lindsey and Jake celebrated their ceremony, cocktails and reception at the Cliff House Resort in York, Maine. Now, if you’ve never been to this property before I would encourage you to do yourself a favor and go visit. It’s an amazing location with stunning views. The property is gorgeous and the drive to the venue is quintessential Maine.

Throughout the planning process, I dealt exclusively with Lindsey’s mom, Gina. It’s rare that I don’t talk with the couple getting married ahead of time, but in this case Gina did an amazing job coordinating all of the details. As an experience Maine DJ, I knew that Gina would ensure I had all of the details I needed before the big day. Oh, and did I mention that Gina is an absolute gem? I couldn’t wait to meet her in person the day of the wedding. She was so kind and enthusiastic through all of our correspondence that I could just tell the entire family and all of the guests would be an absolute delight.  As an added bonus, the vendor team that Gina selected for Lindsey and Jake was top notch. From a photo standpoint, Patrick McNamera was on-hand to capture stunning photos. To tell their story in video format, Gina chose Bryan from Hindsight Wedding Films.  I’ve worked with Bryan and Patrick in the past and they are both true professionals in every sense of the word. It makes the behind-the-scene interactions a lot of fun when you have true professionals on-hand to work with.

But, what about the party? In one word: amazing. When the dance floor opened, Lindsey, Jake and their nearly 200 guests swarmed the dance floor. And, the best part: they never left. It was packed from the first song until the last song. And the energy? It was through the roof. Song after song, everyone sang. Everyone celebrated. It was really something special to be involved with.
