Can’t escape the rain! beautiful indoor ceremony at The Samoset Resort

Despite the rain, Kassi and Drew’s indoor wedding was a breathtaking display of love and joy. Guests entered the elegantly decorated ballroom at The Samoset Resort, adorned with a beautiful runner, drapery, and stunning flower arrangements. June in Maine has proven to be very wet this year. And while it could have certainly put a damper on the day, Kassi and Drew celebrated their love in style. In front of their family and friends, they exchanged beautiful vows before headed under the reception tent for cocktails, dinner and dancing. 

Not Your ordinary party!

The wedding reception was an electrifying affair, buzzing with an energy that was contagious. As soon as Kassi and Drew stepped onto the dance floor for their first dance, the crowd erupted in cheers and applause. It was evident, very early on, that this reception would be an all out party. And it certainly was!

The dance floor quickly filled with guests of all ages, eager to showcase their moves and join in the celebration. These are the nights you live for as a wedding DJ. I was able to play an eclectic mix of classic hits and modern beats, ensuring there was something for everyone. As the night went on, the music shifted to what Kassi and Drew really enjoyed: hip-hop. As the sun set and the energy rose, the dance floor took on a nightclub vibe. The atmosphere was alive with laughter, joy, and the unmistakable sound of people losing their minds on the dance floor.

Kassi and Drew’s reception proved to be a celebration of pure happiness, with the power of awesome music bringing everyone together. As the night went on, it was clear that there would be countless unforgettable memories. While the weather didn’t cooperate for the oceanfront ceremony that they had envisioned, the reception proved to be everything dreams are made of. The dance floor, from the minute it opened until the end of the last song, was packed. Nearly every guest was on the dance floor for the duration of the night. And while this group could have kept the party going, the tented reception at the Samoset had to come to an end. Fortunately for Kassi, Drew and their guests an after party ensued and the night carried on. Thanks Kassi and Drew for letting me DJ your epic / legendary wedding reception!
