Audio-Visual for Yarmouth High School Graduation | Maine A/V

Audio Visual Production Services – Here’s what I provided for graduation

Yarmouth High School had its own riser and podium already on site for the graduation ceremony. So, from a production standpoint, I provided a line array sound system to fill the gym with crystal-clear audio. I provided four channels of Shure ULX-D wireless microphones, delayed speaker stacks for the back of the gym, and a complete two-camera live stream studio. The live stream equipment consisted of Sony DSLR camera bodies with zoom lenses, a Roland VR50MK2 video and audio mixer and everything was fed into a 2022 Macbook Pro for the production.

For live streams I typically like to be hardwired into an ethernet port. Unfortunately, that wasn’t an option inside the gym so we had to rely on the school’s WiFi to stream. That was a first for me and it was very nerve-wracking as the production company. It worked out fine (there were a few times the stream buffered on YouTube), but thankfully the stream stayed connected and everything went according to plan. Here’s a look at the full commencement. Thank you to the staff and administration at Yarmouth High School for bringing me back for a second year. Spoiler alert, I’ll be back for a third year and I’m looking forward to providing the a/v for the 2024 commencement ceremony.
